About the Role

Assist in planning and coordinating a diverse range of activities and programs for children, ensuring they are age-appropriate, safe, and engaging.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the SRE Manager to develop a monthly activity calendar.
  • Support the SRE Manager in supervising and training Kids Club staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and maintain a safe environment.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to staff members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Greet parents and children, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere, fostering positive relationships with families and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety and security procedures, including proper identification verification and sign-in/sign-out processes.
  • Ensure all staff members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure environment for children.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of Kids Club facilities and equipment.
  • Organize and facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational programs.
  • Engage children in interactive and imaginative play, encouraging their creativity, learning, and social interaction.
  • Ensure activities are well-prepared and set up, with materials and supplies readily available.
  • Encourage children’s participation and foster creativity, imagination, and social interaction with other children.
  • Implement effective behavioral management techniques to promote positive behavior and address any behavioral issues in a fair and constructive manner.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive environment, promoting good manners, cooperation, and kindness among children.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of Kids Club equipment, toys, and supplies, ensuring they are well-maintained and replenished as needed.
  • Ensure proper hygiene practices are followed within the Kids Club, including regular cleaning and sanitization of toys and play areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front Office, to ensure seamless operations and efficient communication regarding children's activities and requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records, including attendance logs, incident reports, and activity schedules.
  • Prepare regular reports on Kids Club operations, attendance, and feedback for management review.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Hospitality Management, or Recreation.
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
  • Training in child safeguarding and emergency procedures.
  • Fluency in English; extra languages are a plus.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years working in childcare, teaching, or resort recreation.
  • At least 1 to 2 years in a supervisor or manager role.
  • Background in luxury hospitality or remote resort settings is preferred.
