About the role
The Kids Club Associate is a dependable, caring, and trustworthy team member who ensures a safe, fun, and active environment for children ages one to twelve. This role is ideal for someone with meticulous attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a passion for child safety and well-being. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Kids Club Associate will lead, coach, and train the Kids Club team while fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for children aged two to twelve.
- Supervise children’s activities and enforce safety protocols.
- Manage reservations, child agreements, and parent communications, including tracking bookings.
- Support daily and weekly operational tasks to maintain efficient team workflows.
- Implement emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols.
- Develop and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the Kids Club and throughout the gym, including club walks and bathroom checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians, addressing inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Communicate Kids Club policies, procedures, and updates to parents, staff, and management.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere and build positive relationships with members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, daycare, or recreational programming.
- Knowledge of child development principles, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
- Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing, enriching environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Must pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work in a gym setting, move throughout club floors, and lift more than 40 lbs.
- Ability to operate company computer systems, including document preparation and data entry.

Pay
Hourly pay range: $10—$11 USD. Eligible for additional compensation, including tenure pay.
