Kids Birthday Party Hostess

About the role

EDISON’S ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX is seeking highly motivated individuals with outgoing personalities to work in a dynamic, fun, and energetic 34,000 sq. ft. entertainment facility featuring boutique bowling, laser tag, arcade, a full-service restaurant, lounge, party rooms, and a 200-person event center called The Outlet.

Responsibilities

• Create memorable moments for the birthday child and all guests.
• Serve pizza and soda to birthday party guests.
• Safely escort children to and from bowling, laser tag, and arcade activities.
• Entertain and play games with children when time allows.
• Manage the party timeline.
• Monitor the presence and participation of all guests at all times.
• Maintain a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Qualifications

Additional expectations include punctuality, professionalism, and good citizenship toward staff, managers, and guests. Technical skills like math proficiency, organization, and tech-savviness are a plus.

Preferred experience:

• Party hosting, child care, babysitting, or early education training.
• Server/food service.
• Cash handling.
• Room set-up and tear-down.

Pay

$9.00 per hour (server minimum wage) plus tips.

Schedule

• 10–20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours.
• Required shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
