Qualifications

• Strong foundation in drawing, painting, color theory, and composition
• A PDF art portfolio of 5-10 works or a portfolio website demonstrating the above skills
• Experience teaching or working with children (preferred)
• Comfortable leading groups and managing a classroom
• Ability to teach art techniques and build skills
• Education in Art Education, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field preferred

What and who is Kidcreate Studio?

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for kids. Our art classes are a great way to introduce children to the beautiful world of art! We provide a positive, self-esteem-building environment for children to explore the visual arts. We specialize in children’s art and science classes, camps, and art-themed birthday parties.

What You Will Do

• Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time
• Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels
• Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques
• Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
