Kid Care Staff

The Kid Care Staff plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children are cared for while their parents participate in church services, events and ministry activities. More than providing childcare — our team creates spaces where children experience the love of Jesus through intentional care, meaningful relationships and joyful engagement!! As a member of the Kid Care Team, you will model the values of Real Life Church while discipling the next generation and serving families with excellence!!

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care, ensuring the safety and well-being of every child
• Welcome children and families during check-in and pick-up creating a warm and reassuring experience
• Engage children through age-appropriate play, activities, crafts, stories and simple faith-based lessons
• Follow all Kid Life Ministry policies, safety procedures and check-in/check-out protocols
• Maintain clean, organized and inviting classrooms before, during and after each event
• Assist with diaper changes, toileting, handwashing and snack distribution
• Observe children’s health, behavior and well-being communicating any concerns to the Kid Care Coordinator
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff members and volunteers
• Assist with classroom setup and cleanup as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Successfully complete a background check
• Previous childcare experience preferred but not required
• Genuine love for children and a heart to serve others
• Dependable, punctual and able to work well within a team
• Physically able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods

Schedule

Scheduled on an as-needed basis (typically a few hours per month). Additional hours may be available depending on ministry events and staffing needs.
