Kickball Umpire (Part Time)

About the Role

This is a part-time role for Kickball Umpires, ideal for anyone who enjoys being outside, loves sports, and is looking for supplemental income. Umpires are responsible for understanding and enforcing rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, fun, social, and fair environment for all players
• Understand and kindly and fairly enforce the sport’s rules
• Communicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, or player issues

Requirements

• Must have played kickball or baseball before and be familiar with the rules
• Must be available for a minimum of eight weeks with the following time options:
  • Weekday availability from 5:30pm–10:00pm
  • Weekend availability between 9am–3pm
• Must have reliable transportation to and from field locations
• Must be a confident, loud individual ready to make calls on the field

Qualifications

• People with a passion for sports and social activities
• Must value punctuality and professionalism
• Prior umpiring experience is a plus but not required
• Experience in diffusing challenging situations is a plus
