KIA SERVICE TECHNICIANS

One of the largest privately owned Automotive Dealer Groups in West Tennessee is searching for experienced technicians to join our group. We offer aggressive pay plans based on experience and certifications, and will provide the training and tools to succeed. While we are searching for senior-level factory-certified technicians, positions are available for all levels. We will pay for your training to become a Certified Technician, enabling you to earn top dollar—our top performers earn six figures.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Factory certification preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Learns quickly.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Math, reading, and computer skills.
• Able to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
