Responsibilities

  • Perform lube oil filter services in a professional manner.
  • Perform vehicle inspections as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service for all customers, both external and internal.
  • Ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Maintain the work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Receive service assignments from the service writer or service manager.
  • Complete 'lube' work within the allotted time.
  • Set and achieve personal performance goals.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work area.
  • Avoid leaving the vehicle cleaner than when it was dropped off.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Spend time moving throughout the company facility for most of the shift.
  • Work outdoors in the weather and elements.
  • Sit occasionally.
  • Stand for prolonged periods.
  • Walk on a regular basis.
  • Bend, twist, and/or stoop on a regular basis.
  • Kneel and/or squat on a regular basis.
  • Lift over 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Reach and/or lift overhead on a regular basis.
  • Climb stairs.
  • Make repetitive hand/finger movements on a regular basis.
  • Grasp/grab with hands on a regular basis.
  • Push and/or pull on a regular basis.

Expectations

  • Devote oneself to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
  • Attend Company Meetings as Required.
  • Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow-through with assigned projects.
  • Establish personal performance goals that align with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
  • Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services.
  • Be aware of federal, state, and local requirements governing the company's business.
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Participate in performance management.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.
  • Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
  • Work evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required.
