About the role
KGO-TV/ABC7, the ABC-owned television station in San Francisco, also serving Oakland and San Jose is seeking an accredited meteorologist or experienced weather anchor to produce and present daily weather forecasts for newscasts, on digital and social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create and present forecasts for various newscasts
- Create forecasts for digital and social platforms
- Use weather software systems to create and present forecasts
- Work shifts weekday or weekend mornings or evenings, depending on staff vacations
Requirements
- Prior experience reporting weather on-air
- Candidates should have a solid resume reel showing superior on-camera presentation
- Knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology preferred
Skills
- Superior on-camera presentation skills
- Experience using weather software systems

Pay
The pay rate for this role in San Francisco, CA is $415/day + Overtime.
