KFC Yum Center - Conversion Crew

Position Summary

Ensures set-ups and tear downs for events are completed according to specifications in a safe and timely manner.

Essential Functions

• Arrives for work on time for each scheduled shift in uniform and ready to work.
• Performs set-up and tear down duties for all events to include (but not limited to) basketball (including set and alignment of basketball floor), volleyball, concerts, family shows and special events, locker rooms, VIP rooms, portable chairs, tables, seating platforms.
• Performs daily operations and general building maintenance during non-event days.
• Works safely, quickly and efficiently to meet all deadlines.
• Maintains a positive, outgoing demeanor.

  Required Qualifications

  • Prior Requisition Conversion or event experience preferred
  • Must be able to work overnight hours, weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs on a frequent basis
  • Able to stand on feet for up to 8 hours at a time, and to kneel, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with Requisition Conversion tasks
  • Able to safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to work safely and complete tasks in a timely manner
