Keyholder/Shift Supervisor

About the role

Goodwill Industries of Akron, OH is seeking a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and point of sale system accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, and make nightly cash deposits as needed.
• Complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances.
• Inspect textiles, items, and goods to determine sale ability.
• Sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare items for resale throughout the day.
• Help promote the development of service participants.
• Ensure safety in the work area and operate equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to operate cash register, perform stock duties, and provide customer service.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Previous supervisory experience in customer service with retail or food service experience is highly desirable.

Work Schedule

You must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
