About the role

The Bookstore Keyholder position at Goodwill Manasota is ideal for individuals passionate about books and eager to lead in a retail setting. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, training and supervising team members, and managing various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Partner with Store Leadership to train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members
• Train to master all aspects of the Goodwill donated retail goods process
• Support the operations of the store with necessary activities such as open/close, cash handling, inventory control, processing and rotation of donated goods, and loading of trucks
• Steward donations well by building and maintaining an awareness of current literary trends and popular titles

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Basic computer skills are required
• Prior cash handling experience is preferred
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
