Key Private Bank Associate Relationship Manager
Job Summary
Key Private Bank (KPB) is dedicated to serving clients' financial needs through expert advice and personalized banking, borrowing, and investment solutions. The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) manages and builds client relationships by providing knowledgeable advice aligned with clients' financial goals. The ARM works to identify growth opportunities in existing client books or through internal referral channels to achieve individual sales goals while collaborating with experienced Relationship Managers.
Essential Functions
- Identifies opportunities to retain, expand, and acquire client relationships.
- Gathers information from the client and consults with appropriate team members to recommend banking, borrowing, and investment solutions.
- Engages and coordinates the extended advisory team based on client needs. Acts as a client advocate/representative on assembled team. Engages Market Leader or other Relationship Manager based on client complexity.
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs through Relationship Reviews, CRM system, and personal meetings. Captures client goals in a financial plan.
- Uses a disciplined approach to the client review process using designated tracking tools to document progress on implementing client strategies.
- Maintains individual sales goals by expanding existing client relationships, closing referrals, and capturing new business growth. Prepares and delivers in-person client presentations, individually or as part of a team.
- Participates in community organizations to demonstrate Key's commitment to the local community. Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of financial wealth management and brokerage investment advisory services and products as well as competitor knowledge.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (preferred)
- Equivalent experience (required)
- 3 years of financial services-related experience (required)
Licenses and Certifications
- FINRA License S7 (preferred)
- FINRA License S66 (preferred)
- FINRA License S63 (preferred)
- FINRA License S65 (preferred)
Skills
- Excellent client relationship and superior partnering skills.
- Deep knowledge of financial products and banking regulations.
- Established excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in working with high-net-worth individuals and their financial issues (preferred).
- Experience working in credit teams and a proven understanding of the importance of asset quality and exceptional customer service (preferred).
- Sales or customer service experience.

Physical Demands
- General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
- Travel - Occasional travel to include overnight stay.
- Driving Requirements - Ability to routinely and frequently operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
