About the role
As a Key Holder, you’ll be an integral part of our store’s day-to-day operations, working alongside the management team to create memorable moments for our guests. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service in a fun, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Promptly greet store guests and offer assistance to provide quality guest service.
- Consistently practice suggestive selling to increase sales by engaging guests in conversation, suggesting promotional items, and attempting to add on to every sale.
- Maintain knowledge of the store’s products, including current sales, promotions, sales targets, KPI goals, and new products.
- Meet company presentation standards for merchandise display, store cleanliness, receiving shipments, replenishing stock, and rotating product.
- Follow Event Network and hotel appearance and dress standards.
- Process all transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card payments, employee discounts, guest room charges, and hotel property charges.
- Complete store paperwork and procedures, such as printing register reports, performing cycle counts, and opening/closing store procedures.
- Recognize security risks and protect company and store assets by preventing and handling loss situations.
- Follow all applicable state and federal laws, as well as company policies for store operations, timekeeping, loss prevention, and human resources.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve store goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Experience as a keyholder or supervisor in a retail environment.
- Merchandising experience organizing and presenting products that are visually appealing.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a service mindset.
- Must be 21 or older for liquor sales.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, morning, and evening shifts.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand for up to 8 hours (excluding breaks and meal periods).
- Walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete all required paperwork.
