About the role

IT’SUGAR is expanding rapidly with over 100 locations nationwide, aiming to provide a joyful shopping experience. The company offers an unconventional twist on traditional candy store goods, a vibrant ambiance, and enthusiastic staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers with requests and inquiries.
• Follow the SUGARTAINMENT customer engagement model.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor while adhering to store visual standards.
• Operate POS/register to properly cash out all customers.
• Achieve sales goals by suggesting additional products and explaining product information.
• Maintain store cash handling records.
• Support store operations by opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Merchandise displays to visual guidelines.
• Assist in set-up for special events and promotions.
• Understand and comply with Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures.
• Perform operational responsibilities such as sales floor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 6 months in a similar retail role preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to use a POS/cash register.
• Standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 25 lbs., and lifting up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
