Job Description
- Build application records electronically as required for all general agency submitted applications.
- Manage paperwork submission from the general agency to the compliance unit for Financial Advisors (FA).
- Update records as case progresses, completing follow up to inquiries to and from the general agencies.
- Aid in the management of Service Level Agreements (SLA) and cycle times for all cases.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work independently within a team framework.
- Keyboard and PC proficiency, accuracy, and speed.
- Quick learning ability, both processes and systems.
- Understanding of privacy regulations, including HIPAA and PHK.
- Knowledge of and compliance with insurance regulations, including E&O.
- Strong customer and interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication and phone presentation.
- Dependability and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment.
- Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, headsets, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- Largely a sedentary role; some standing or filing may be required.
- May involve ringing phones, conversation, or customer contact.
- Requires lifting files weighing no more than three pounds, opening filing cabinets, bending or standing on a stool (no higher than nine inches) as necessary.
