Key Carrier Coordinator

Job Description

The Key Carrier role at HomeGoods is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers alternate between these roles based on store needs, primarily performing the Coordinator role but occasionally taking on a leadership role as a Key Carrier.

• Maintains all aspects of the store, including customer service and store operations.
• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality.
• Acts as the Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Prioritizes tasks and addresses immediate customer service issues.
• Provides appropriate coaching to Associates and communicates effectively with management and associates.
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures and executes opening/closing procedures according to company guidelines.
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people/tasks.
• Able to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• One year retail experience, six months leadership experience preferred.
