Key Carrier Coordinator

Job Description

The Key Carrier role at HomeGoods is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers alternate between these roles based on store needs, primarily performing the Coordinator role but occasionally taking on a leadership role as a Key Carrier.

• Maintains all aspects of the store, including customer service and store operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Prioritizes tasks and addresses immediate customer service issues.
• Coaches Associates and ensures they adhere to operational procedures.
• Communicates with management and Associates to set and address priorities.
• Provides feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
• Trains Associates to increase their effectiveness.
• Maintains compliance with labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Maintains a safe environment.

• Knowledgeable about company standard software, systems, and procedures.
• Experience with merchandise flow in stores.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Able to coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple tasks.
• Quickly acts under challenging circumstances.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• One year retail experience, six months leadership experience.
