About the role
The Spritz Specialist is responsible for driving in-market execution, account relationships, and program performance for a premium liquor brand’s summer spritz initiative. This role owns a portfolio of priority on-premise accounts and is accountable for building strong trade relationships, securing and supporting menu features and events, while increasing visibility, trial, and volume throughout the summer season.
Responsibilities
- Manage (5) priority on-premise accounts
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned account communications
- Build and maintain relationships with owners, managers, bartenders, and staff
- Establish the brand as a go-to recommendation within each account
- Maintain consistent account presence and engagement
- Sell in and support season-long spritz feature concepts that drive sustained visibility and volume
- Secure menu placements and ongoing features across accounts
- Drive multi-SKU distribution and close gaps in target accounts
- Introduce simple, approachable spritz serves that are easy for staff to recommend and execute
- Build authentic relationships with consumers, bartenders, and the industry to drive advocacy
- Conduct staff trainings and execute sampling initiatives (1400+ samples) to drive trial
- Research, identify, and outreach to new accounts, partnerships, and event opportunities
- Ideate, develop, and present event and activation concepts tailored to the local market
- Own and execute pop-ups, on-premise events, and experiential activations that bring the brand to life
- Host bartender, industry, and consumer outings to drive engagement and awareness
- Leverage social media to amplify in-market activity and lifestyle moments
- Manage local account spend and bar budgets to maximize impact and ROI
- Confirm participating accounts and manage event advancement
- Congnorate with the local sales team to confirm product availability and delivery
- Oversee event kit organization, including preparation, packing, shipping, and tracking, with support of the POPLIFE Account Team
- Support local portfolio ambassador communications & oversee local staff onboarding
- Support the local distributor's product confirmation
- Oversee POS, event kit organization, and distribution logistics
- Oversee event asset purchasing
- Oversee third-party vendor coordination
- Oversee asset inventory management
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned client communications
- Provide regular status updates and progress reporting
- Participate in internal check-ins to ensure cross-functional alignment
- Develop client reporting and post-program learnings
- Lead or support client share-outs of reporting and insights
Qualifications
- Established on-premise and trade relationships in Boston
- Experience in hospitality, beverage/spirits, or experiential marketing
- Proven ability to influence accounts and drive sell-in
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills
- Self-starter with deep knowledge of the local market and culture
