Key Account Manager - Miller Electric

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market growth.
  • Build/maintain strong relationships and drive influence with key decision-makers for a national contractor.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the contractor’s national footprint.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct regular meetings and quarterly business reviews with the key account to review performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive sales initiatives and campaigns to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the strategic national account team and their target general contractors to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Work closely with other divisions within Siemens Smart Infrastructure to leverage synergies and drive integrated solutions.
  • Cook up with the product management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the Area Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Siemens’ policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and compliance within the team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in working in the power distribution market and awareness of its key players.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales/account management within the power distribution or related industry.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% of the time, as needed, to support locations outside of the Jacksonville market and participate in trade shows/industry conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated sales/account management experience.
  • Proven experience in account management within the power distribution or related industry.
