Key Account Manager II
About the role
The Key Account Manager II is a salesperson responsible for meeting sales quotas and expense budgets for assigned clients. This includes managing sales programs, promotional spending, distribution levels, shelf placement, and strategic planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans with clients to achieve business goals
- Collaborate with retailer associates on Headquarters calls to implement programs
- Own the relationship with assigned clients
- Make decisions regarding spending of clients' trade funds to drive increased sales
- Sign, implement, and execute contracts on behalf of clients at customers
- Work closely with internal Advantage Solutions associates to increase sales volume within a market
- Service one or multiple clients' goals, including customer relations and implementation
Requirements
This position requires a proven track record in sales and account management, with experience in developing and executing strategic plans. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Relevant work experience in a similar role is preferred.
