Key Account Manager Air & Ocean Exports
- Manage day-to-day operations for key customer accounts, including both air and ocean export shipments
- Coordinate bookings, documentation, and execution from pickup through final departure
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations, AES filings, and customer-specific requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and solutions
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions quickly
- Work closely with internal teams (warehouse, dispatch, pricing, compliance) to ensure smooth execution
- Maintain accurate and complete shipment data within CargoWise
- Monitor shipment timelines and proactively address delays or service risks
- Support process improvements and help standardize operations for assigned accounts
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
What the Job Entails
This is a full-time, in-office, permanent position from Monday to Friday.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations
- Strong operational experience in U.S. air and ocean exports (required)
- Import experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with CargoWise (required)
- Strong understanding of export documentation, AES, and regulatory requirements
- Adequate problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal teams
- A high level of ownership and accountability
