Key Account Manager
About the role
The successful candidate will serve as a Key Account Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota, responsible for influencing and guiding the design of large, complex electrical distribution solutions for Schneider Electric's clients.
Responsibilities
- Become a trusted advisor with assigned Electrical Contractors and End Users across several market segments.
- Develop winning proposals to clientele, interpret electrical plans and specifications, and drive strategic growth at assigned accounts.
- Engage and manage channel partners to increase sales success for Schneider Electric target accounts.
- Exceed sales and profitability metrics to assist in achieving Schneider Electric’s growth ambitions.
- Understand and communicate Schneider Electric’s software, cloud analytics, and services story for contractors and facilities aligned with their digital and sustainability goals.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Communications, or Business is preferred.
- Advanced experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries.
- Experience selling through distribution and to trade professionals, with emphasis on C-Suite executive relationship building.
- Advanced experience with low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies.
- Familiarity with Square D Power Distribution Equipment such as busway, panelboards, transformers, switchboards, electrical components, surge protective devices, paralleling switchgear, services, and software is preferred.

Pay
The expected compensation range is $108,800-163,200.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

This is a full-time position.
