Key Account Manager
About the role
The Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for growing wallet share and/or continuing to build customer lifetime value with key strategic accounts. This role also focuses on driving demand generation through identifying areas of business development, selling downstream with channel partners, and delivering commercial insights that drive demand for Metrie products and services.
Responsibilities
- Grow wallet share and customer lifetime value with key strategic accounts
- Drive demand generation through identifying areas of business development, selling downstream with channel partners, and delivering commercial insights
- Create and execute strategies to increase the sustainable profitability and drive top and bottom-line growth of accounts
- Manage the Metrie brand touch points to drive brand value and awareness; leverage an insight-driven, customer-centric approach to generate awareness and interest for Metrie products/services among targeted Channel Partners
- Contribute to the delivery of quarterly and annual sales results that meet or exceed the region targets
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of sales, Metrie's products and people, and solid business acumen
- Experience in dealing with purchasing agents, senior buyers, and small business owners
- A passion for customer service and building rapport with prospective and existing customers
- Passion for learning, growing knowledge and skills, and strong analytical skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and effective time management
- Proficiency in web-based computer systems (SAP, HubSpot, and Microsoft Office Suite)
Qualifications
- Door experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience within the building products, interior finishing, construction, architect, interior design, or other related fields preferred

Pay
Competitive base salary, profit-sharing program and sales incentives
Schedule
Location: The ideal candidate will be based in or near the Boston area with the ability to travel throughout the state of Massachusetts. Travel may account for up to 50% of the role.
