Key Account Manager - Architects & Designers
Job Purpose
The Key Account Manager – Architects & Designers (Dallas) is responsible for developing and managing key relationships with leading architects, interior designers, developers, and design firms throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth market, with a strong focus on hospitality, luxury residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This role is based in Dallas and owns the specification process across the Dallas–Fort Worth territory, working closely with A&D firms, developers, and other project stakeholders to specify AXOR and hansgrohe products at the design stage. Once specifications are secured, projects are transitioned to the appropriate sales and project teams for execution, pricing coordination, and conversion support. The role plays a critical part in expanding the project pipeline, improving conversion rates, and strengthening collaboration across functions and regions.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy and target key A&D customers across the Dallas–Fort Worth market, with emphasis on hospitality, luxury residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use developments
- Build and manage strong relationships with Dallas–Fort Worth-based architects, interior designers, developers, and design firms
- Drive local specification of AXOR and hansgrohe products, ensuring early engagement in the design phase
- Partner closely with Global Projects, regional sales teams, and internal stakeholders to hand off specified projects and support pipeline development and conversion
- Execute a structured call cycle to ensure consistent customer engagement and coverage throughout Dallas–Fort Worth and the surrounding North Texas territory
- Develop and maintain Key Account Plans aligned with monthly, quarterly, and annual growth targets
- Contribute high-quality, well-documented specifications that strengthen regional and national project pipelines
- Maintain accurate customer activity, project pipeline, and forecasting data in SAP C4C
- Launch new products through Dallas–Fort Worth-area events such as lunch & learns, showroom presentations, and design community engagements
- Monitor competitor activity and actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and design-focused networking opportunities
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory for customer meetings, project visits, presentations, and industry events, with occasional travel outside the territory as business needs require
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Dallas–Fort Worth A&D market, including hospitality, luxury residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use segments
- Proven ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with architects and designers
- Experience working within structured CRM systems (SAP C4C preferred) with strong pipeline discipline
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, present, and collaborate effectively
- Ability to understand diverse customer needs and adapt approach accordingly
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory and maintain a valid driver's license
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of the Dallas–Fort Worth development and design community

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in A&D, specification, or project-based sales within premium or luxury product environments
