Kentucky Medication Aide (KMA)
About the role
KMA’s are the heart of our nursing homes at Morgantown Care & Rehabilitation Center. This position involves providing daily personal care to residents, changing bed linens, maintaining grooming supplies, ambulating and transferring residents, recording vital signs, and observing residents to report any changes in condition.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care to residents
- Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in residents' rooms
- Ambulate and transfer residents, using appropriate assistive devices
- Record vital signs and other information as assigned
- Observe residents and report any changes in condition
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Current Medication Aide Certification and current Nursing Certification from state
- Current/active CPR certification
