General Information
This is entry level routine work in the care, monitoring, control, and recordkeeping of animals brought into the animal shelter.
Requirements
- Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of one year experience working with animals; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
- Must obtain Euthanasia Certification within the first six months of employment and State of Alabama Certified Euthanasia Technician licensure within 90 days of receipt of Euthanasia Certification.
