About the Role
Fast-paced Kennel Connected To a Well-established Companion Animal Practice In Yorktown, VA Is Looking For a Part Time Kennel Technician.
Requirements
- Must be able to work independently
- Have strong communication skills
- Be proficient with computers
- Be able to walk large and small dogs
- Have their own reliable transportation
- Be able to work efficiently
Responsibilities
- Leash walking small and large dogs
- Feeding and medicating both dogs and cats
- Bathing dogs
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kennel and runs
- Interacting with our clientele during drop off and pick up procedures
- Using our computer system to take accurate notes on patient care
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic pet care and husbandry is a must
- Previous experience as a kennel technician is preferred
Schedule
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Every other weekends
- Day and evening hours during the week
