Kennel Assistant - Part-Time (Weekend Only)

Department: Boarding  Location: Temple, Texas  Compensation: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour

Join our amazing team as our newest Kennel Assistant! You'll love the day‑to‑day care of patients and boarders including feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well‑being of pets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day‑to‑day care of patients and boarders
• Safe handling and restraint
• Feeding and watering
• Walking and bathing
• Monitoring behaviors
• Ensuring the well‑being of pets
• Assisting medical staff

Requirements

• Must have previous animal experience
• Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects
• A sense of fun and teamwork – smiles and laughter are required
• Dependable and able to work independently
• The ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease
• A willingness to learn and provide gentle, compassionate care for boarded and hospitalized pets
• References, background checks, and drug testing are required

Pay

$14.00 – $15.00 per hour
