Kennel Assistant - Comal Pet Hospital
About the role
Comal Pet Hospital & Resort, part of the Suveto network of hospitals and located in New Braunfels, TX, is seeking an experienced full-time Kennel Assistant to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all boarders indoors and in the play yard.
- Work with a large group of dogs.
- Constantly walk and interact with dogs.
- Maintain a safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Keep the facility clean and maintained.
- Record keeping, check-in, and check-out of dogs.
- Kennel Assistants must be active and attentive at all times.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year's experience working in a dog daycare facility (preferred).
- Must be friendly, organized, and customer service-driven.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced work environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- A passion for animal welfare.
- Available to work during evenings, and on weekends and public holidays, if required.
