KC Cafe Bartender

KC Cafe is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Bartenders to join our Sarasota location in both full-time and part-time capacities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers, preparing food and beverages, and supporting both the cafe and showroom experience.

About the Role

As a KC Cafe Bartender, you will help create an exceptional guest experience by preparing menu items and beverages, maintaining the bar and showroom, providing knowledgeable and professional service, and supporting daily business operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cookies, beverages, and other food menu items according to established standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of alcoholic beverages, including their tastes, characteristics, and appropriate descriptions.
• Professionally prepare and serve alcoholic beverages using proper glassware and service standards.
• Maintain the bar area, supplies, equipment, and overall cleanliness.
• Assist with showroom support and customer engagement.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming guest experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process customer transactions.
• Handle cash and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
• Follow all assigned Standard Work, policies, procedures, and Role & Responsibilities for the position.
• Assist with business office and showroom administration as needed.
• Support sales efforts and identify appropriate opportunities to upsell products and services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of food service experience preferred.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Ability to handle cash accurately and balance a drawer at the end of each shift.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Sales skills and the ability to confidently upsell when appropriate.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and service standards.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides (preferred).
• Knowledge of Square Point of Sale is preferred.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr.
