About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) is seeking telephonic interpreters to work from home. This contract position involves providing over-the-phone interpretation services for a variety of industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility, customer service, and state courts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, accurate interpretation services for clients 24/7.
• Interpret using either the online portal or a landline telephone to log on and off.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and be a resident of the U.S.
• Must pass a language assessment.
• Experience in interpreting is preferred but not required.

• Fluency in the target language.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with online platforms.

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis and interpreters are paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payments are issued twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month via direct deposit.

Schedule

Interpreters can provide their service any time, 24/7, using CLI's online portal or a landline telephone to log on and off.
