Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (required to apply).
- Valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board, or an Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
- If hired without a completed Teacher’s Education Program, enrollment in a State Approved Teacher’s Education Program (SATEP) within the first year and completion within three years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Special Education license from the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board.
