Kafka Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator with 5+ years of experience to lead and mentor a team of skilled Kafka admins. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Confluent Kafka (preferred) or Apache Kafka and be responsible for administering Kafka platforms, developing solutions, supporting clients, and driving innovation to optimize Kafka environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploying Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka on On-Premis and AWS
• Leveraging the scalability, reliability, and ease of management offered by cloud infrastructure
• Deploying and managing Kafka clusters on Kubernetes
• Ensuring efficient containerized deployments
• Administering Kafka platforms
• Developing solutions
• Serving as a technical expert to support clients
• Driving innovation to optimize Kafka environments

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with Confluent Kafka (preferred) or Apache Kafka
• Expertise in administering Kafka platforms
• Technical skills in deploying and managing Kafka clusters on On-Premis and AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes for containerized deployments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to mentor and lead a team of Kafka admins
