Job Summary

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified K–2 Teacher to join our Cub Campus. The ideal candidate will create a structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports early literacy, foundational math skills, and the overall development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across all core subject areas
  • Build strong foundational skills in literacy, math, and critical thinking
  • Create a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress using data-driven practices
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and needs
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional support staff
  • Integrate developmentally appropriate technology and instructional tools
  • Participate in school events, team planning, and professional development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K–6 or PK–3)
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
  • PREFERRED: Strong classroom management and early literacy instruction skills
  • PREFERRED: ESOL and Reading endorsements
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday 8-hour workday
In-person instruction required

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear
  • Use of computers and instructional technology
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
  • Standing/Walking: Up to 2/3 of the day
  • Sitting: Under 1/3
  • Reaching/Talking/Hearing: Over 2/3
  • Stooping/Crouching: Up to 2/3
