Responsibilities

• Implement the approved Industrial Arts curriculum, including proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.
• Work closely with teammates to develop teaching skills and participate in team planning meetings, sharing curriculum and instructional expertise.
• Engage in offered professional-development opportunities.
• Maintain professional etiquette in all verbal and nonverbal communications, following established school guidelines.
• Promote communication between parents, community members, and teammates, and help establish and maintain home-school connections.
• Assist in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.

Requirements

• A passion for teaching.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
