Great Hearts Academies is a growing network of 49 public, open-enrollment, tuition-free classical schools in Phoenix (AZ), Baton Rouge (LA), Lake Charles (LA), Dallas/Ft. Worth (TX), and San Antonio (TX). We provide over 30,000 K-12 students with access to a high-quality, classical liberal arts education, believing the highest goal of education is to become good, intellectually and morally.
About the Role
We are hiring for Fall 2027 K-12 teaching positions and invite lifelong learners passionate about shaping students' hearts and minds to indicate early interest through this general application.
Potential Openings
- Kindergarten through 5th Grade Classroom Teachers
- Kindergarten through 5th Grade Teaching Apprentices/Assistants
- Fine Arts: Music, Poetry, Visual Arts, Drama
- Humane Letters: Western Traditions of Literature, History and Philosophy
- Languages: Latin, Spanish, French
- Literature and Composition: Western Traditions of Literature
- Mathematics: Elementary Math (K-5th gr.) and Pre-Algebra through Pre-Calculus
- Physical Education
- Science: Life Science, Earth/Physical Science, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
- Special Education / ELL Teachers
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree is required for a lead teaching role
- Associate's degree preferred but not required for Teaching Assistants
- Certification is not required for general education
- All majors are welcome
- US Work Authorization is required

Additional Information
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements. Travel may be required locally for training and professional development opportunities.
