K-12 Part Time Math & ELA Tutor (North Los Angeles) - 2026/2027

About the role

This role is for tutoring opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year.

Job Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math & ELAGrades: K-12th grade
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• In-person availability is subject to the following: San Fernando Valley, North Hollywood, Glendale, or Pasadena.
• Scheduled hours: Schedules vary accross sites.
• Must be available Mondays through Fridays from 12 PM to 6 PM PST
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Benefits

• Excellent rate of pay: $40 an hour
• Paid Onboarding/ Training / Preparation / Support: $22.00 an hour
