About the role

This person will work closely with the head coach supporting their plan. They will also be in charge of running their own aspects of practice given the skill they are put in charge of. Another aspect of their duties will be to supervise students until they have been picked up from practice and/or meets.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and supervising game help
• Assists with supervision at activities
• Supervises students until they have been picked up from practice and/or meets

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• CPR certification
• CHSAA test and regulation Concussion Education
• Prior coaching experience in this sport
• Complete concussion training

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards
• Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position
• Leadership skills relating to meeting the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students
• Ability to deal with conflict, high tolerance for stress, and ability to quickly internalize information and make informed decisions
• Flexibility and ability to work long hours
• Bilingual skills preferred

• Visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
• Ability to sit for long periods of time

Pay

Salary placement on the Co-Curricular Salary schedule is dependent on the sport, club, organization, or program and the employee's in-district experience as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.
