JV Girls Basketball Coach

About the Role

Aitkin High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as JV Girls Basketball Coach. The role involves building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the Aitkin High School vision. Coaches must maintain current CER's through the MSHSL website and work with the Head Coach to ensure all training and professional development remains up to date.

Reports to the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, who provides overall job objectives and observes performance in conjunction with School and MSHSL Policy, as well as the Aitkin High School Athletics/Activities Director.

Qualifications

• Successful high school and/or collegiate level coaching experience
• Related successful experiences in educational leadership
• Experience in building a comprehensive program and developing staff
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Commitment to developing and maintaining positive relationships between the Aitkin Gobblers Girls Basketball program and the local community

Pay

Based on Teacher's Contract.
