Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• One-year job related experience (residential supervision preferred)
• Good computer skills with strong organizational, verbal and written communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public and other employees
• Eligible to be a Certified Detention Officer
• CPR, First Aid, Handle With Care Certifications (can be obtained after employment begins)
• Availability for shift work and weekends
• Valid Texas Driver's License

Pay

$24.57 - $36.86 hourly based on qualifications. This position is eligible for additional compensation based upon state supplement and certification pay.
