About the role

Monroe County Justice Programs is hiring a full-time Justice Program Specialist to work with the bond monitoring and electronic monitoring program. This role focuses on encouraging and providing participants with tools for sobriety and successful program completion, enforcing program rules, managing behavior, and developing individual case plans for self-improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Explain and enforce program rules for participants.
  • Control behavior problems and impose discipline as needed.
  • Develop and maintain individual case plans for participant self-improvement.
  • Track participant work and home activities while on electronic monitoring.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in criminal justice or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with incarcerated adults or juveniles, or closely related experience (preferred).
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license (required).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay

Starting salary: $21.09 per hour, plus shift differential opportunities.

Schedule

Third shift availability required. Typical workweek consists of four 10-hour shifts (10 PM–8 AM or 12 AM–10 AM), with every other weekend off.
