Junior Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test system applications using defined development processes, tools, standards, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Work with senior members of the development team on projects requiring multiple steps in the software development process.
• Communicate with other developers on the team to share knowledge and coordinate work efforts.
• Analyze business requirements to create functional specifications for development.
• Participate in meetings with other members of the development team to discuss project progress and identify issues.
• Test new features to ensure they function as intended.
• Create prototypes of new features to test feasibility before starting the final product.
• Maintain performance of applications to ensure they run efficiently and respond quickly to user input.
• Analyze data to identify problems or opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of newly developed systems and operations.
• Interface with key customers from all functional areas, both internal and external.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or at least 1 year of experience in the IT industry or relevant training through a coding or technology program/internship.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Visual Studio.
• Experience with C# (or similar object-oriented programming languages such as Java).
• Above-average math skills.
• Fluent English speaking ability.
• Knowledge of Windows Server software system, C# (backend software language), and .NET Framework, .NET, or .NET CORE.
• Additional skills in MSSQL Server Software, Subversion (Source Code Control software), Angular (JavaScript framework written in TypeScript), AngularJS (JavaScript framework), and Redis Cache are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to continuously view and input data to a computer screen.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to travel as necessary.
