Key Responsibilities
- Support Wealth Advisors and Senior Wealth Advisors in delivering exceptional client service and comprehensive financial planning.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, take detailed notes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding accounts, financial plans, and general wealth management questions under advisor guidance.
- Prepare client review materials by gathering financial information and maintaining accurate client records.
- Aid in the development of comprehensive financial plans including retirement planning, investment allocation, tax planning, and cash flow analysis.
- Collect, organize, and analyze client financial information including income, assets, liabilities, expenses, and financial goals.
- Research tax-saving strategies and assist with preparing tax planning recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients and external professionals such as CPAs and attorneys to coordinate the implementation of financial plans.
- Help educate clients on financial planning concepts, investment strategies, and tax planning principles.
- Prepare client presentations, financial summaries, and planning materials.
- Provide financial planning resources and advisor support during major life events.
- Deliver a high level of professionalism while building trusted, long-term client relationships.
- Participate in team meetings, training programs, and firm initiatives.
- Pursue ongoing professional development, including CFP® and Series 65 licensing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a client-facing advisory role.
- Strong understanding of investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, and estate planning principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to fiduciary responsibility, ethical conduct, and a client-first philosophy.
Preferred
- CFP® designation or CFP® eligibility.
- CPA or other financial planning designations or licenses.
- Series 65 or willingness to obtain licensing.
- Experience supporting comprehensive financial planning engagements.
