Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Set and communicate seasonal goals with student-athletes, captains, and the Director of Athletics;
• Develop an overview for the season, focused first on skills progression and that includes the scheduled practice sessions, beginning and ending on time, and provides adequate warm-up, exercises, stretches, and cool-down;
• Attend to all practice, pre-season, race-day, and transportation expectations, in coordination with the Director of Athletics and other coaches;
• Record and report team and individual statistics and provide this data at the end of the season to the Director of Athletics and student-athletes of the JV Volleyball team;
• Ensure the safety of all student-athletes at all times.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in volleyball;
• Experience in developing practice plans and providing individual and team instruction;
• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive the School's minibuses; training will be provided.
