Junior UAM/Insider Threat Analyst

About the role

Junior (UAM) User Activity Monitoring / Insider Threat Analyst position in Alexandria, VA supporting a DoD/Government client. This is an estimated 6‑month contract‑to‑permanent hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Triage, analyze, and assess UAM alerts; document and report findings through a case management system and share information with impacted parties for follow‑on analysis.
• Deploy, maintain, and tune countermeasures in response to new or changing insider threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Coordinate with external organizations, especially Law Enforcement and Counter Intelligence.
• Provide information to the UAM lead for customer trending and reporting.
• Create and implement countermeasures to specific weaknesses against known adversarial TTPs.
