Junior Systems Engineer (cleared)

About the Role

As a Systems Engineer in our Cyber group, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices in a rapidly growing product line. You’ll work with custom in-house software at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity and high-speed data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mission-critical NSA-certified Cybersecurity devices.
• Perform requirements analysis and management.
• Conduct functional analysis, performance analysis, and systems design.
• Execute trade studies, system integration, and testing.
• Support long development lifecycles and product lifespans, including maintenance and technology refresh.
• Write CONOPS, specifications, or requirements and derive them into software design, code, test plans, and execute systems-level testing/debugging.
• Provide technical direction and leadership with minimal guidance.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire (U.S. citizenship is required).
• Agile experience preferred.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Full Stack experience.
• Extensive experience with DOORs.
• Linux networking experience, including Layer 2 and Layer 3.
• Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Proficiency with systems and test tools supporting lab environment testing.

Pay

Target salary range: USD $94,388.00/Yr. - USD $99,550.00/Yr.

Schedule

This position is fully on-site with a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Workplace

This role is fully on-site with the Dedham Cyber Engineering team.
