About the role

A junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer responsible for software systems engineering in aviation programs, including acquisition, development, and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements
• Review vendor software specifications
• Coordinate system integration
• Analyze software defects
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts
• Participate in system engineering reviews
• Support engineering change proposals
• Work within Agile and SAFe processes
• Support technical evaluations of proposals

Requirements

• At least two years of software or systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of avionics systems
• BS in a technical discipline from an ABET-accredited program
• Active Secret Clearance
• U.S. citizenship

• Experience with military standards

Pay

Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $122,000 annually.
