Junior Systems Engineer

About the role

We're working with a premier technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets. This organization is focused on delivering systems engineering and integration offerings for large, complex projects, serving customers in the U.S. federal government.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Support requirements decomposition, traceability, verification planning, and configuration management.
• Coordinate technical activities across various partners, including Government, FFRDC, UARC, and industry.
• Assist in the development of engineering documentation, including Systems Engineering Plans, Interface Control Documents, Requirements Documentation, and Technical Briefings.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and working groups.
• Support technical baseline management and change control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle processes.
• Experience developing or managing requirements.
• Experience supporting technical integration across multiple organizations.
• Experience developing engineering documentation and technical briefings.
