Responsibilities
- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering methods throughout the entire system lifecycle, from requirements to validation
- Develop and maintain system models, architecture products, and digital engineering deliverables for undersea communications systems
- Support interoperability analysis to ensure effective system operation across various environments
- Produce model-derived reports, technical summaries, and decision-support products for program leadership
- Manage and coordinate model information and digital-thread objectives across engineering teams
- Implement and mature a model-based culture using digital enterprise infrastructure and collaborative modeling practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering, digital engineering, or system architecture
- Experience applying MBSE principles to multiple lifecycle activities (requirements, design, analysis, verification, validation, or acquisition)
- Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language, Unified Modeling Language, or related systems engineering lifecycle processes
- Experience with collaborative MBSE or digital engineering environments (e.g., MagicDraw/Cameo, Sparx EA, IBM Rational Rhapsody)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
